Philippine Airlines Moves International Flights to NAIA Terminal 1

If you have an upcoming Philippine Airlines flight, the country’s national flag carrier has issued an advisory regarding international flights, where they will be reassigned to NAIA Terminal 1 effective June 16. All Philippine Airlines domestic flights, on the other hand, will remain at NAIA Terminal 2. Passengers are encouraged to arrive at least four (4) hours before their international flight and three (3) hours for their domestic flights. Doing so will give travelers enough time for immigration and security checks.

For added convenience, Philippine Airlines allows early check-in for international passengers in NAIA Terminal 1 and domestic passengers in NAIA Terminal 2.

Prior to this, the MIAA MIAA relocated the operations of China Southern Airlines, Jetstar Asia, Jetstar Japan, Scoot, and Starlux Airlines to Terminal 3, while some of Philippine Airlines’ international flights, particularly to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Phnom Penh, and Singapore, were moved to Terminal 2. International flights of Ethiopian Airlines, Gulf Air, Jeju Air, and Thai Airways were moved to Terminal 3 last June 1.

Aside from the updated assignments for international flights, Philippine Airlines also advises travelers to and from the Philippines to register through the E-Travel portal within 72 hours prior to their scheduled time of arrival in or departure from the Philippines.

both Filipinos and foreign nationals are required to register on the E-Travel portal for arrivals, while only Filipino nationals are required to register for departures from the Philippines
