POCO C40 Official in Vietnam Ahead of Global Release

POCO C40 Official in Vietnam Ahead of Global Release

While POCO was supposed to globally launch the C40 on June 16, the brand’s Vietnam store decided to jump the gun and make the phone official. While it was initially speculated to be similar to the Redmi 10C, the C40 has a couple of differences.

One of the key differences is that the C40 has a 6000mAh battery inside that supports 18w wired charging (though you only get a 10w charger out of the box). The main rear camera is downgraded to a 13-megapixel snapper, and RAM/storage variants is limited to a 4GB/64GB model for now.

Another interesting difference is the processor, where the C40 uses a JLQ JR510 processor instead of the Snapdragon 680 used on the Redmi 10C.

Little is known about the processor, but media outlets said that JLQ is a Chinese company and that the JR510 is an 11nm octa-core processor that has 4 Cortex-A55 cores running at 1.5Ghz, and 4 unknown cores running at 2.0Ghz. It has a Mali-G52 for the GPU and features a 4G modem from Qualcomm.
