POCO X4 Pro 5G Specs Accidentally Leaked By An Amazon Retailer

The POCO X4 Pro 5G is set to be released at the 2022 iteration of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, a highly-awaited annual event of technology goodness. The device was supposed to be announced alongside its all-new brand siblings and launched on February 28. Amazon France was apparently very excited though – so much in fact, that it listed the smartphone for sale recently. We’ve compiled the information to make it easier to decide if this smartphone is the one for you.

In case you didn’t know, the POCO X4 Pro 5G is somewhat of a supercharged version of the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. As such, they share some components which include the 6.67-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. The processor is also identical in both, which is the Snapdragon 695. These similarities extend to the rear: the 108-megapixel main shooter along with the 8-megapixel ultrawide and 2-megapixel macro lens are shared as well.

The device is going to come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage though, which is a relief in terms of 2022 futureproofing. There aren’t any news yet if the POCO will come with microSD card support or even if higher memory options will be sold, but casual users will be more than satisfied with that much storage. To be found on board is a 5,000 mAh battery, with the capabilities for 67W fast charging.

Pricing is still a guesstimate for now, but sources indicate that the device could cost around 350 Euros or Php 20,000. While buyers could get a higher-end processor for that price than what can be found here (such as the Snapdragon 870 in the Poco F3), the overall package could provide a well-rounded, upper-midrange experience.

We’ll keep you posted when the POCO X4 Pro 5G is officially announced at MWC.
