REV Major is set to make a comeback this 2022, as it is bringing the hype back again with on-site events this September 17 to 18 at SMX Convention Center Manila Function Rooms 4 and 5.
One of the highlights of REV Major is its Tekken World Tour, which encompasses tournaments from across the globe to seek the best of the best players to compete in the Tekken World Finals. It also pays host to ArcSys World Tour, where players from Guilty Gear-Strive and DNF Duel battle it out to be the best player in the world. There’s also the DragonBall Fighter Z Wold Tour, where the hunt for the strongest DBZ player continues.
Other tournaments that will be happening at REV Major 2022 include fighting games like Street Fighter V, Marvel vs Capcom 2, KOF XV, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Melty Blood Type Lumina, Grandblue Fantasy Versus, Soul Caliber VI and Mortal Combat 11 Ultimate.
To add more excitement to the 2-day event, 6-time Evo Championship Series winner “The Beast” Daigo will be present and will be having a book signing and a meet and greet with his fans and patrons. Aside from them, Evolution Championship Director of Global Business Development MarkMan will be commentating on the Tekken World Tour Segment and meet his fans as well.
Some of the top Tekken 7 players that will be at REV Major are 2022 champion Knee and second place Slash, DBFZ Champion G01, and international FG players like JeonDDing, Chanel, Book, Anakin, and Rangchu. Local FG players like AK, Doujin, Vermillon, and Jules will be participating as well.
