Predator League is back to offline, in-person competition in 2022, and Acer kicked things off by hosting the Philippine Finals for Valorant at SM Mall of Asia Atrium on September 17. Participating teams include Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ), Oasis Gaming, Team Secret, and South Built eSports.
For the first match, RRQ duked it out against Oasis Gaming, where RRQ dominated with a score of 13-5 in both Haven and Breeze. This is followed by a match between South Built eSports (SBE) and Team Secret, where the latter bowed out, letting SBE go against RRQ for the grand finals.
In the grand finals, RRQ showed their expertise in the Breeze map against SBE with a convincing 13-7 score. Moving to the Fracture map, the match was so intense that it went into overtime, but RRQ would eventually deliver the final push to make them the champs.
Aside from bringing home the Predator League Shield to represent them as Champions for the 2022 Valorant Finals in the Philippines, RRQ also went home with Php 200,000, while runner-up SBE went home with Php 100,000.
Aside from the non-stop Valorant action on stage, various Predator products were on display, and personalities Een Mercado, burg, and Team Payaman were there to meet their fans, while Reg Rubio rocked the crowd with his performance before the start of the Grand Finals.
