We just love calling things out and this one is just crazy. Smart and Deezer are formally launching their partnership later tonight and what’s interesting is that there is an obvious black ops campaign against it. There are multiple accounts (we’ve counted more than 10) with 0-10 followers each and have nothing but tweets with the hashtag #HateSmart.
A quick search on who’s tweeting using the #HateSmart hashtag will reveal a long list of accounts with foreigner profile pics, low follower counts, and lots of tweets on the same topic. Utterly shameless, pathetic, and just downright sad.

We have no idea if this was done by competition. For all we know it could just be a disgruntled Smart employee or a Deezer hater. Fact of the matter is that it is really bad practice.
