At around 8:00pm today (September 18), several Smart subscribers reported that they lost signal on their devices. This was confirmed by Downdetector, where they report that TNT subscribers and some PLDT subscribers were affected.
It took a few minutes before Smart confirmed the lost signal problem, pointing to a power issue affecting one of their facilities. In their post, they confirmed that their team is working to fix the issue as soon as possible.
While our PLDT connection was not affected by the outage, Downdetector still reports issues for both Samrt and TNT as of 10:20pm. Hopefully Smart can resolve this issue soon, as it might be an awkward way to kick off its 9.19 festivities on September 19 if the issue still persists.
