Sony Announces 2023 Bravia XR TV Lineup

Sony reveals its 2023 line of Bravia XR TVs, with the main highlight being its Cognitive Processor XR feature. Consisting of the X95L Mini LED, X90L Full Array LED, and A80L OLED, their use of Cognitive Processor XR helps in improving overall picture quality by improving backlight control for increased local dimming zones, increased brightness, and declared blooming. Select models get XR Clear Image that helps reduce noise and blur-in motion for a more immersive watching experience.

When paired with Sony’s Home Audio products like the HT-A9, HT-A7000, HT-A5000, and HT-A3000, the 2023 Bravia XR series support Acoustic Center Sync, where it synchronizes the TV’s audio system with select soundbars and AV receivers for a clearer, fuller dialogue and more immersive sound.

Sony also optimized all 2023 Bravia XR TVs for use with the PlayStation 5, where you can benefit from features like Auto HDR tone Mapping and Auto Genre Picture Mode for the best possible gaming and streaming experience. You also get a quick-access Game Menu for easier personalization of your preferred game settings.

All models come with the Bravia Core app, which is a pre-loaded movie service that comes with up to 10 movie credits to watch the latest releases and popular classics and additional movies with up to 12 months of unlimited streaming

The BRAVIA XR X95L is a 4K HDR Mini LED TV that’s available in an 85-inch model. As the top-end model, you get features like HDMI 2.1, Variable Refresh Rate, and Auto Low Latency Mode. You also get X-Anti Reflection & X-Wide angle for minimizing reflection. The X90L makes use of a Full Array LED panel and is available in 75, 65, and 55-inch models.

The A80L, on the other hand, makes use of an OLED panel and is available in 77, 65, and 55-inch models. You get features like XR OLED Contrast Pro and XR Triluminos Pro to make you appreciate the beauty of OLED panels–on top of being around 110% brighter compared to last year’s A80K.

The Sony 2023 Bravia XR TV lineup will be made available soon in the Philippines.
