Spotify offers a variety of plans to its subscribers in the Philippines. You have the regular Premium Plan that costs Php 129/month, the Duo Plan for two users for Php 169/month, and the Family Plan for up to 6 users for Php 194/month.

Spotify has also more affordable plans like the Student Plan for Php 65/month, and now the music streaming platform adds an even more affordable plan with Premium Mini.

Priced at Php 7/day or Php 26/week, Premium Mini offers ad-free listening to your Spotify account, along with unlimited skips, 30 song downloads on one device, and up to 160kbps music streaming.

Premium Mini is catered primarily to individuals who only intend to use Spotify for a set time period (ie. while on a week-long vacation) and only use a single mobile device for their music and podcast needs. Just like Spotify’s other plans, Premium Mini can be paid using your phone’s prepaid load or through eWallet apps like GCash and PayMaya.

One disclaimer, however: in terms of pricing for long-term use, the regular Premium Plan is still the way to go, as it offers 320kbps music streaming, up to 10000 music downloads on up to 5 devices, and is not limited to mobile devices (it can be used with computers and smart speakers as well).

Aside from Premium Mini, The Verge also confirms that Spotify is working on a Plus plan in select countries for $0.99/mo(~Php 50). While it still features ads like the Free Plan, Plus removes the limits on the number of tracks that you can skip in an hour. In addition to that, Plus users have the freedom to pick the songs they want to listen to.

“We’re always working to enhance the Spotify experience and we routinely conduct tests to inform our decisions,” a spokesperson for Spotify told The Verge. “We’re currently conducting a test of an ad-supported subscription plan with a limited number of our users.”
