TCL Philippines teases its next TV in the Philippines with the C6 QLED Pro series, which they claim will give “a quantum leap in color display technology.” TCL will be debuting the C6 QLED Pro in the Philippines on May 8 with endorser Kathryn Bernardo starring in a new commercial.
“We are very happy to announce the coming of the new TCL C6 QLED Pro Series. With its exceptional features and state-of-the-art technology, you can be assured that the C6 Series is definitely worth the wait!,” TCL Brand Manager Joseph Cernitchez said.
Ahead of its launch, TCL Phlippines revealed details about the C6 QLED Pro, which will be known locally as the C655 QLED Pro. Available in 55, 65, 75, and 85-inch models, the main highlight of the TV is TCL’s QLED Pro display, which boasts a 95% DCI-P3 and effective light emission for over 100,000 hours with the use of a new quaternary quantum crystal material for the display. The new panel boasts over 100 dimming zones for deeper blacks and higher maximum brightness.
Powering the C655 QLED Pro is TCL’s AiPQ Pro image processor that helps it deliver various picture enhancement features. Taking care of the C655 QLED Pro’s audio is a 2.1 channel Onkyo sound system with support for DTS Virtual:X and DTS-HD.
Expect TCL to reveal the official pricing of the C6 QLED Pro on May 8.
