Following the local launch of the Camon 18 series in the Philippines, TECNO further promotes its latest mid-range smartphone line with the Movie Masters 2021 program. The short film competition invites all amateur Filipino filmmakers to showcase moving moments from everyday life using videos shot from the Camon 18 Premier.
Those who are interested must submit a 1-minute video where they explain why they should be considered for the program. Part of the video should include the participant speaking directly to the camera, while the rest of the video may be used creatively, and can include samples of past works, and other similar footage. Participants may submit their entries here.
Entries for TECNO Movie Masters 2021 will be accepted until November 20, 11PM. Three semi-finalists will be selected by TECNO and receive a Php 25,000 cash prize and a Camon 18 Premier phone. From here, the three semi-finalists will create a short video revolving on the theme “Capturing Moving Moments in the Philippines” using the Camon 18 Premier.
The Grand Winner will receive a Php 300,000 film grant and will have an opportunity to create a short film about capturing moving moments in the Philippines, with the help of top local director Paul Soriano and his team at TEN17P. The runner-up winner will be given the title “TECNO 2022 Tourism Ambassador and a Php 40,000 travel fund.
