Wanted previous iterations of the Huawei MateBook X Pro but hated the upward-looking hidden webcam in them? We have good news: the latest refreshed model of the laptop line has finally ditched that feature, as the Huawei MateBook X Pro 2022 opts for a more traditional webcam solution in the form of a tiny cam embedded in the 6mm bezel.
Aside from that, the new model packs plenty of great tech too: the new model has a 14.2-inch display with a resolution of 3,120 x 2,080, a 90Hz variable refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 500 nits. That’s a size increase from the 13.9-inch 2021 model, and since this laptop is the top-of-the-line lappie from the company, it also comes with a 100% coverage of the P3 gamut that makes for a color-accurate display for both amateurs and professionals.
As far as specifications go, the Huawei MateBook X Pro 2022 comes with Intel’s 11th-generation Rocket Late processors, along with the company’s Iris Xe integrated GPU. There’s 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM on board, as well as 1TB of M2 SSD. Huawei’s managed to stuff a three-intake, dual-shark fin cooling system along with a VC heat dissipation module in their design, which is impressive, since the laptop is only 15.5mm at its thickest point, and weighs just 1.38 kilos.
The laptop is priced at €1,899 (Php 109.8) in our currency via direct conversion.
