The OPPO Find N2 is All About Refining an Already Good Device

It has been a year since OPPO joined the foldable market with the Find N, and this year’s Inno Day is the perfect opportunity to introduce the Find N2 and the all-new Find N2 Flip. Despite that it looks similar to its predecessor, OPPO made several refinements to the Find N2.

To start things off, OPPO redesigned the hinge of the Find N2 by reducing the number of parts used and by using more sophisticated materials like high-strength alloy and carbon fiber. This resulted in the Find N2 being slimmer and lighter than its predecessor. The second-generation Flexion hinge also helps in making the crease less visible and being able to use the Find N2 at any angle between 45 and 125 degrees.

With those changes, the outer display has a slightly tweaked aspect ratio at 17.7:9 (instead of 18:9). The bezels are also slimmer, and you are not getting a 120hz refresh rate. The internal display is roughly the same, but it is brighter than the one used on its predecessor and has an anti-reflection film to improve screen legibility when using the phone in bright daylight.

Aside from generational improvements like a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and faster 67w charging, a big upgrade of the Find N2 is with the cameras. The main camera is an IMX890 that has OIS, while the ultra-wide-angle camera is now a high-resolution IMX 581 sensor. The telephoto camera, on the other hand, uses an IMX709 RGBW sensor that should have better light sensitivity. It also has OPPO’s MariSilicon X chip and Hasselblad tuning for improved post-processing.
