The vivo V27 Series Offers Studio-Like Photography Performance

From being a mid-range line best known for taking stellar-quality selfies, vivo has upped the game with its V-series line by making the V27 series a great mid-range phone for taking studio-quality selfies.

Whether you go for the vanilla V27 or the more affordable V27e, both V-series phones highlight the brand’s Aura Portrait Algorithm feature for taking great portraits even in low light. The features involve a mix of vivo’s Portrait Algorithm software, an Aura Ring LED on the back, and top-caliber main rear cameras. All of these features work together so that users can get top-notch photos straight from their phones.

Both V27 variants come with a high-quality main camera that has OIS+EIS Dual Ultra Stabilization. The V27 uses a custom 50-megapixel Sony IMX766V sensor, while the V27e uses an equally good 64-megapixel SAMSUNG ISOCELL GW3. Of course, they are not vivo phones if they don’t have great selfie shooters–in this case, you have a 32-megapixel vlogging camera on the V27e, while the V27 gets a class-leading 50-megapixel Eye AF vlogging camera that ensures all of your selfies are sharp and in focus.

Since both V27 models focus on photography, vivo equipped them with all the features you need to take great photos. Want to take a nice outdoor shot with that cool summer vibe? vivo’s “Nautical Blue Portrait” does the post-processing for you to get that getaway-perfect snap! Want to take great night shots? You have “Super Night Mode” that utilizes both OIS and EIS, along with vivo’s own post-processing algorithm, to get you those crisp and clear low-light shots!

All of these features under vivo’s Aura Portrait Algorithm make the V27 series great for their respective price points, as they aim to offer the best possible camera performance so that users can take quality photos–and even studio-level ones–with just their phones.

With both V27 models having OIS+EIS Dual Ultra Stabilization, they are also great phones to use for vlogging. The V27e can shoot Full HD at up to 60FPS, while the V27 can shoot 4K video–in both cases, they are very capable of taking smooth and steady video footage thanks to their Hybrid Stabilization feature.

Beyond the cameras, both V27 models have the internals to prove that they are great performers. The V27 rocks a 4nm flagship-like Dimensity 7200 processor with up to 20GB Dynamic RAM (12GB+ 8GB Extended RAM and 256GB internal storage, while the V27e is just as competitive with its Helio G99 processor that’s paired with up to 16GB Dynamic RAM (8GB+8GB Extended RAM) and 256GB internal storage.

To complete the package, both rock bright and vibrant 120hz AMOLED displays–curved for the V27, flat for the V27e–and are powered by a 4600mAh battery that supports fast 66w wired charging. That fast charging speed allows you to top up both V27 models in under an hour.

Aside from being feature-packed, both phones are slim AND stylish: the V27e is 7.7mm thin and 185g, while the V27 5G is even sleeker at 7.36mm thin and just 182g. On top of that, the V27 has an updated Photochromic 2.0 tech for its Emerald Green colorway that changes color much faster than its predecessor so that you can channel your creative side with its back panel. The V27e is also stylish with two color options: Lavender Purple with a peacock feather design, and Glory Black with its glittery finish.

Overall, they are a great deal for the features they offer, with the V27 priced at Php 24,999 and the V27e priced at Php 16,999. Make sure to follow vivo’s official Facebook, Instagram, and official website to know more about ongoing promos.
