ASUS brought a handful of media to Batanes from October 25 to 28 to take the ASUS Zenfone 3 camera out for a spin. We visited many of its incredible views, ready to capture moments with our Zenfone 3 and since we raffled off the 5.5-Inch variant of the Zenfone 3, ASUS Philippines was nice enough to lend me a Zenfone 3 Max. Disclaimer: I’m not a professional photographer but I think that the phone did exceptionally well in capturing the beauty of Batanes even in the hands of an amateur. It’s great for those who want to travel light and refuse to bring heavy photography equipment but still want quality pictures. Photos, after all, are the best souvenir from every trip.

Here’s a time lapse video taken with an ASUS Zenfone 3 Max in HD.
I’d also like to note that the phone’s 4100 mAh battery was exceptional. I didn’t have to charge in the middle of the day — compared to my usual daily driver, an iPhone 6 — despite the numerous pictures and videos I took during the trip. It really is a great companion to any travel destination.
