After we spotted the Y100 at vivo’s Shopee Store last week, vivo Philippines confirms that the official launch of the Y100 will be on April 27. vivo also gave an update on the official price of the Y100, which is at Php 13,499 at their Shopee store.
To recap, the main highlight of the Y100 is its support for 80w charging, which is the fastest charging speed on the Y series. It boasts 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, with the latter being expandable via MicroSD at up to 1TB.
Aside from having a fast wired charging speed, the Y100 will have a capable camera setup that consists of a 50-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
Other confirmed features of the Y100 include a 120hz AMOLED display, stereo speakers, IP54 rating, and two color options: Crystal Black and Breeze Green, with the latter having a photochromic color.
While the Shopee listing mentions that the Y100 arriving in the Philippines will have a Snapdragon 685 processor, it seems that we might be getting the one that’s sold in Indonesia, which comes with a 5G-ready Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor. Expect vivo Philippines to reveal more details about the Y100 in the coming days.
