During Xiaomi’s event in India, the smartphone company revealed the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge — the fastest charging smartphone in India at present.
The newly launched phone isn’t actually new as it was launched by Xiaomi in China, as Redmi Note 11 Pro+ and Redmi Note 11 Pro, back in October 2021. What makes the new Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge different is the battery. It is bigger and has a 67W charging rate.
Inside the new Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge and Xiaomi 11 is a Dimensity 920 chipset. This chipset is accompanied by 6GB or 8GB of RAM, in addition to 128GB of internal storage that’s expandable via a micro SD card.
Both phones also have a Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 1080p resolution, and a Gorilla Glass 5 on top. As for the camera, both models feature a triple camera setup consisting of a 108MP main, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP telephoto lens. There’s also a 16MP camera at the front for taking clear selfies.
For the most notable part, the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge features a 4,500mAh battery that has 120W fast charging while the regular 11i features a 5,160mAh battery with 67W fast charge.
Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge Price
The Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge has price of INR 26,999 (~Php 18.5K) for the 6GB + 128GB variant and INR 28,999 (~Php 20K) for the 8GB + 128GB. Meanwhile, the lower Xiaomi 11i has a price of INR 24,999 (~Php 17.5K) for the 6GB + 128GB and INR 26,999 (~Php 18K) for the 8GB + 128GB. Both phones will be released in India on January 12.
