Xiaomi Philippines Donates RedmiBook 15s, School Supplies to Students

Xiaomi Philippines continues to support education and creativity in public schools through the power of technology. Recently, Xiaomi and World Vision Philippines donated 10 RedmiBook 15 notebooks, 400 LCD writing tablets, and assorted school supplies that include Xiaomi backpacks and pens to 400 students from a school in Barangay Baseco, Manila, as they return to face-to-face classes.

“The last two years has indeed been trying times for these students,” Xiaomi Philippines Marketing Head Tomi Adrias said. “It has always been the mission of Xiaomi to be a brand that supports young people’s aspirations by equipping them with the latest technology available.”

This also marks the second year that Xiaomi Philippines has worked together with World Vision as part of the brand’s advocacy to champion the further development of education in the country through technology that will help enhance and harness Filipino students’ digital prowess.

KM Leong, General Manager of Southeast Asia, Xiaomi International, said, “Xiaomi recognizes the importance of how technology plays a major role in every aspect of our lives including education therefore we would like to help aid the youth with their first steps into the digital era, further enhance their creativity, and let their imagination bloom with our technological assistance,” Xiaomi Southeast Asia General Manager KM Leong said. “Moreover, Xiaomi has continued to contribute to our efforts to empower the young generation’s education, not only in the Philippines but also in other countries as well.”

The Xiaomi RedmiBook 15 is a good laptop for students, as it comes with a 15.6-inch display, a Core i5-11300H processor, 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD, along with a 46wHr battery.
