Excited for the newest version of Android?
If you’ve been waiting for Google’s latest and greatest Android version, Marshmallow, to hit Google-branded phones and devices, your wait is almost over – Google has announced today that the Android 6.0 update will be hitting Nexus devices by next week. Nexus phones, which include the 5, 6, 7 and 9 as well as the Nexus Player are eligible to get the update, though though actual date aside from the vauge “next week” has been given by the search giant. Obviously when you get the Nexus 6P and 5X you’ll be getting Android Marshmallow out of the box already. As for the updates of other manufacturers, no one knows – but you’ll be sure to hear from them in the next few days about their update plans.
