The hype surrounding popular gaming app, Pokemon Go, may slowly be fading away but it doesn’t mean it still doesn’t have a huge player base or that Niantic Labs and the Pokemon Company will stop bringing updates to the game. The most recent update brought us the appraisal system, which is a somewhat vague representation of the potential of our Pokemon or a replacement the IV calculator website we’ve been using as trainers. Just like we mentioned above, the Buddy Pokemon allows you to pick your favorite Pokemon from your roster to make you avatar appear a little less lonely as you walk around, and will open up “unique in-game rewards and experiences” like: awarding you candy. You will be allowed to switch around your buddy anytime. The post from the Pokemon Go Development Team mentions that they’re working on other things coming this fall, so we can expect this new feature pretty soon seeing as they’ve started to play Christmas songs in our local malls.
