A surprise release from Konami
Big Castlevania fans are in for a treat, as Konami surprised everyone with an Android and iOS version of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
The said game is based on the PSP and PS4 version of the game of the said name, and has features that include support for controllers, a close-to-original 4:3 aspect ratio, continue feature, and additional content from the Sega Saturn version. What makes this particular Castlevania game important is that it is the first Castlevania game from writer/director/producer Koji Igarashi and marked the transition from being an all-action game into an exploration and adventure format that follows a storyline.
The surprise release also came a great time, as the Netflix anime adaptation of Castlevania debuts its new season today.
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is priced at Php 149 for both Android and iOS.
