More ways to enjoy that fast fiber internet connection

Converge is expanding its offerings beyond fiber internet services with the introduction of the FREEDOM streaming service. An exclusive service to Converge subscribers, FREEDOM allows you to access content from premium channels like NBA Premium via a set-top box or through your smartphone via the FREEDOM app.

Among the main features of FREEDOM is Time Shift, where users can pause, rewind, or fast forward content for up to four hours. On top of that, users can catch up with previous episodes they missed out for up to seven days with the Playback feature. Lastly, FREEDOM allows families to view different types of content on different devices simultaneously with its Multiview feature.

FREEDOM’s bandwidth consumption can range from 2 to 2.5Mbps for Smartphones and Tablets and up to 4.5Mbps for TV Set-Top Box for high-definition content.

Current plan offerings for Metro Manila subscribers include Plan 299 and Plan 499. The former comes with 8 HD and 48 SD channels, while the latter has 21 HD and 73 SD channels. Both plans come with one free app access. For provincial subscribers, they can choose between Plan 300, 500, and 700.

Current Converge subscribers can avail of a 30-day free trial until April 30.

Converge Freedom Plans are initially available in these areas: Metro Manila (Navotas, Parañaque, Quezon City, Taguig Pateros, Valenzuela, Marikina, Caloocan, Muntinlupa) and North Luzon (Angeles, Mabalacat, Tarlac).
