Datablitz Reveals Nintendo Switch OLED Price in the Philippines

Following its announcement last July, it was simply a matter of time when we get to know the official price of the Nintendo Switch OLED in the Philippines. Recently, retailer like Datablitz have posted the official price for the Switch OLED, and it is several thousand Pesos more expensive compared to US pricing even if you don’t factor in the bundled goods.

A quick search on the Datablitz web store shows that they are selling the Nintendo Switch OLED with a price of Php 24,995 in the Philippines. Datablitz is bringing over both the white and red/blue versions with two bundle options to choose from: one has two Switch games, while one has a Game a Watch with Super Mario Bros.

For comparison, the regular, non-OLED Switch is priced at Php 15,395, so you are paying an almost Php 10k premium if you prefer the OLED. For that added cost, the Switch OLED gets you a bigger 7-inch OLED display, double the internal storage at 64GB, improved stereo speakers, and an updated dock that now has a built-in ethernet port.

Save for those differences, the Switch OLED still uses the same Tegra processor and 4310mAh battery found on the non-OLED version, along with support for 1080p in TV mode.

Aside from Datablitz, Itech is also offering the Switch OLED at a lower price of Php 23,595, and it comes bundled with Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
