You can now Netflix and chill in the PH
Netflix has officially landed in the Philippines and 129 other countries today. Reed Hastings, one of the co-founders of Netflix officially announced that they were turning the switch on for Netflix for 130 countries, including the Philippines. Customers in the PH can now enjoy the video streaming service for just Php 370 a month, further accelerating the demise of cable companies in the country.
The basic plan of the streaming service restricts streaming on a single device in standard definition. The standard plan adds a second screen to the mix, and gives you HD quality in your streams. The premium version of the plan gives you 4 screens to watch Netflix on, and gives you Ultra HD definition in compatible devices. Currently Netflix is giving users 1 month free to try it out, after that you’ll have to pay monthly either through your credit card or through Paypal.
