A breath of fresh air for the mobile game?
The popularity of Pokemon GO got a bit of a boost thanks to the hype with Pokemon Let’s GO!, along with a clever accessory in the form of a Pokeball Plus.
The Switch-only game comes with features that sync with your Pokemon GO account, though there are a few limitations to it. In pursuit of making Pokemon GO interesting once again, Niantic teased on Twitter that Player-vs-Player battles will be coming to the game.

PvP battles are one of the key features of the Pokemon franchise, and adding this must-have feature to Pokemon GO should generate interest for both old and new players.
