Smart + Deezer = awesome

If you’re a Smart Postpaid subscriber, you’ll be able to get the music service bundled with the company’s Unlisurf Premium Plans which start as just Php 1,174 a month. That includes this year’s smartphones and unlimited LTE surfing. For example, you can avail of the Sony Xperia M2 at Unlisurf Premium Plan 1174, or the Nokia Lumia 1020 at Plan 1675, or the Sony Xperia Z2 (or the Samsung Galaxy S5) at Plan 2175. Early subscribers get a Php 175 rebate for six months.
Existing postpaid subscribers, you won’t be left out. You can get Deezer via the numerous Deezer Music Packs, ranging from 1 day access (Php 25) to monthly access (Php 250). Each Deezer Music Pack gives you additional SMS and a set number of MB for mobile data for Deezer streaming. Smart will announce their plans for pre-paid subscribers to enjoy Deezer later on.
For those who are asking, no, Smart will not be replacing Spinnr with Deezer. While the company didn’t mention it, it’s kind of obvious that Spinnr will remain as a low cost option for people looking to stream music, as Deezer demands a higher, Php 250 monthly fee compared to the paltry Php 29 of Spinnr. Makes sense?
