Hasta La Vista Babeh!

Ever since we completed our Avengers 1/6th limited edition collection we’ve set our sights on building a new set of 1/6th figs consisting of iconic action stars. We already have Donnie Yen (as IP Man), Bruce Lee, Bruce Willis (General Colton), and quite recently we picked up Sylvester Stallone (Barney Ross). Today we’re happy to share that we have one of the most legendary action stars joining our toy cabinet, Arnold Schwarzenegger as T-800 from The Terminator 2: Judgement Day movie!

Kinda miss movies like those. Stuff just blowing up left and right, hehe.

Hello There Arnold!

As expected with Hot Toys, the head sculpt of the figure is an awesome reproduction of Arnold’s face in the movie, complete with the wrinkles and the emotionless facial expression. They even got his gelled pulled-back hair right, hehe.

The body is muscular and stands around 32cm tall. It also has around 30 points of articulation making it very posable. The arms are a bit stiff though because of the jacket so be careful when you’re trying to pose that part.

Bad Ass Leather

Just like the movie the T800 figure has a tight leather jacket (complete with the zippers and buckles), a grey t-shirt, pants, and black boots. The box also came with sun glasses so if you fancy the T800 with his shades on you can just slip it on his head.

There are multiple hand pegs, some of which are gloved while others are bare (total of four pairs). You can use the different hands to hold the various weapons that also come in the box.

Firepower!

Of course it wouldn’t be much of a Terminator if it didn’t have weapons right? Fortunately we have a lot that come in the box! We have a pistol, shotgun, mini gun, grenade launcher (which an ammunition strap you can put on Arnold), bandolier, and a mini gun (with bag that holds ammunition). Just mix and match the different hand pegs but my favorite is the mini-gun. He just looks so kick-ass with it, haha!

Other than the weapons the T800 also comes with it’s own stand, hexagonal base, and nameplate that can light up (batteries are pre-installed). There’s also a scalp piece, pincers, and chips should you want to change the look of the head a bit.

Lastly the head of the figure also has Hot Toys’ Parallel Eyeball Rolling System (PERS) that lets you change the direction where they eyes are looking by turning the knobs inside the head sculpt.

There’s also a battle damaged version of this figure that exposes his red robotic eye and we’re keen on buying that one as well once we have the budget (hehe). For now though this is definitely a great addition to the action star collection!

The T-800 1/6th Scale Figure from Terminator 2 Judgement Day sells anywhere from Php10,000-Php14,000 depending on who or what store you buy it from. Sometimes you can get it slightly cheaper if you buy from collectors in the different 1/6th Facebook Groups.
