You can now watch GMA channels on your mobile phone with the GMA Now Dongle. This plug-and-play dongle lets you enjoy Kapuso channels GMA, GMA News TV, Heart of Asia, and Hallypop without internet on your smartphone.

The device combines the reach of digital terrestrial TV (DTT) and online interactivity in one tiny dongle, which makes it easy for mobile users to enjoy watching TV on their mobile devices. That being said, you can watch most of the network’s free-tv channels without an internet connection. The viewing experience will depend on the signal strength of the channels in your area. The GMA Now page recommends outdoor use for the best viewing experience. GMA’s digital reception is currently limited to the following areas: Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Pampanga, Cavite, Laguna, Baguio, Pangasinan, Batangas, Metro Cebu, and Metro Davao.

The GMA Now dongle is only available for use on Android-compatible devices that come with a corresponding app that can be downloaded on Google Play. The interactive features of the GMA Now that require internet connection include the GMA Videos on Demand Service, Groupee Chat which allows users to connect with their fellow viewers and Kapuso celebrities, and access to interactive promos offered by the network. The DepEd Channel is also anticipated to be part of the channel offerings that can be accessed through the device. The GMA Now dongle is set to have its grand launch in January 2021.

GMA network offered this device ahead of its launch on GMA’s official stores in Lazada and Shopee. It can be purchased exclusively online via the official GMA Stores for just Php 649 on Lazada and Shopee
