Sasuke!

We’ve been looking for the longest time for 1/6th scale high quality action figures of our favorite anime series, Naruto. We finally had a breakthrough yesterday and we were able to snag this rare Uchiha Sasuke action figure made by Medicom Toys in collaboration with Bandai. This is a fully articulated figure which you can pose in a variety of ways and it comes with multiple hand/palm pegs, Chidori hand peg, two heads (one with Sharingan on), katana, and a transparent plastic display stand.

The figure is a replica of Sasuke in the later part of Naruto Shippuuden. He’s already killed Orochimaru at this point has already probably joined with Tobi (based on the clothes). Speaking of clothes, the figure comes with real fabric clothing which they were able to nail to the last detail. We love how they were able to perfectly capture the Uchiha fan logo at the back.

By the way, in case you’re wondering the 1/6th scale action figure is 12-inches tall. That’s waaaay taller than the usual toys you find in Greenhills. To give you a sense of size and scale, here’s Sasuke beside one of our Play Arts Kai Batman action figures (which is already considered “not small”).

Since we’re huge fans of the series we feel that this particular figure is an outstanding addition to our collection. We also just found out that there’s a Naruto 1/6th scale figure that goes along with this one so we’re definitely going to keep an eye out for that one.

Anyway, here are a few more photos:

There’s no local distributor for MediCom here so it’s really hard to find in the Philippines. We were only able to get this from someone who got it from the US and came back to the PH (saw it in one of the toy forums). In online sites it sells for $350-$500 (Php12,000-20,000). Fortunately we were able to get it way less than that, hehe.

Now to get a good deal for Naruto! 🙂
