Cole Haan Hermitage Messenger Bag: Perfect for your MBP 15-inch Retina
We take a break from all the gadgets and gizmos to do a quick review of a premium luxury messenger bag from Cole Haan. The Cole Haan Hermitage Messenger Bag is made from stylish cowhide leather colored Woodbury. It can fit a lot of stuff inside due to the multiple pockets including a dedicated compartment for a 15-inch laptop. Yes friends, this is absolutely perfect to keep your MacBook Pro Retina Display 15-inch safe and secure!
In terms of design it has a flap closure at the front with working antiqued brass buckles. Once you unlock the buckles and flip the flap up you’ll find the main compartment as well as two front pockets with snap closures.
The main compartment has cream-colored cotton canvas lining which is excellent contrast to the Woodbury exterior. There’s a multifunctional pocket panel inside for your pens, cards, and phones. There’s also a laptop-compatible (up to 15-inches) technology pocket with a slide-in strap lock.
There’s also a slip-in compartment at the back of the device for easy-access stuff. Make sure you don’t put your valuables here though since it’s pretty easy pickings for snatchers, lol.
Lastly, the bag has a 47″ detachable leather shoulder strap. You can wear it as a typical messenger or you can carry it via the handle. Complete measurements of the bag are 15.5″ W x 11″ H x 4″ D.
