Xiaomi announced the launch of its most premium QLED 4K TV so far, the Xiaomi Mi TV Q1. This huge 75″ TV is powered by quantum dot technology, as well as Android TV 10, along with AI enhancements to make viewing more pleasant.
The Mi TV Q1 has a 75″ edge-to-edge display offering a true-to-life cinematic experience in 4K UHD resolution. It has a premium metal finish with a 178-degree viewing angle that enables bezel-less viewing.
The picture quality on the Mi TV Q1 75″ claims to be a cut above the rest because of its 4K QLED display panel that accommodates a 100% NTSC color range with 1.07 billion color variations and 1,024 different color shades. It also supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and comes with an impressive 120Hz refresh rate, coupled with HDMI 2.1 ports and auto low latency mode that makes this 4K TV ideal for gamers and streamers.
Voice control is available on the Mi TV Q1, and its built-in microphones can recognize voice commands of up to 3 meters. This lets users enjoy hands-free control of the TV through either Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. As an added privacy measure, the microphone can be turned off on the tv or by its physical switch at the bottom of the screen which mutes the microphone. Google’s Chromecast is also built-into the Mi TV as well.
“The TV category is definitely one of the most important within Xiaomi’s product universe, and we continue to challenge ourselves to deliver better specs and areas of innovation,” said Emory Babb, Product Marketing Manager, Xiaomi. “Building on Mi TV’s strong momentum in China and India, we are thrilled to bring the next-gen smart TV experience to the global markets,” he adds.
The Xiaomi Mi TV Q1 will be offered globally beginning March 2021 with an SRP of EUR 1,299 (PHP 75,525) in select regions.
