More online resources for COVID-19 information dissemination
PLDT-Smart updates its list of free-to-access websites by including multi-response website StaySafe.ph. Developed by Multisys Technologies Corporation, the website aims to raise COVID-19 awareness by voluntarily answering a series of questions about their health status without disclosing their personal identity. From there, the website will assess the patient’s condition.
The information gathered will generate a “heat map” that will guide health authorities and health workers with the distribution of possible COVID-19 cases. Aside from the website, StaySafe.Ph will be launching Android and iOS apps soon. “By giving mobile phone users free access to StaySafe.ph, we hope to empower them to do their part in ‘flattening the curve’,” ePLDT President and CEO and PLDT-Smart Enterprise Business Groups SVP and head Jovy Hernandez said.
Other websites PLDT and Smart users can access for free include DoH’s COVID-19 tracker, DoH’s official website, PHILVOLCS’ official website, and official websites of the Philippine Information Agency and National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.
