Honda Philippines recently launched the all new 2011 Honda Accord. The new Accord has significant upgrades from the 2008 current-generation model. The first and definitely one of the most important is the improved fuel economy due to the revised aerodynamics and optimization of the engine and transmission. This is a very important factor considering gas prices have been skyrocketing in the last few months and it’s bound to go even higher later this year.
Other obvious changes include the new grille and front bumper making it a bit more sporty. The central dashboard controls are also less cluttered/messy and much more organized. There are also optional features like an iPod/USB interface, navigation system, interior climate-control, rearview camera, and shift paddles.
The prices of the Honda Accord on the Honda Philippines website is still as of March 2011 so this is probably still the price of the 2008 model. However it shouldn’t really be that far off for the 2011 (around Php15,000-Php20,000 difference). Will update when I have actual prices.
