Honda Philippines is on a roll! They just launched the new Honda City last January and then followed it up with the refreshed Civic and special edition Jazz in February. To kick off the second quarter of 2012 they unveiled the all-new 4th generation CR-V!

The 2012 Honda CR-V boasts of subtle changes which include the following: front fascia with an integrated grille and headlights design, 17-inch aluminum wheels, elegant C-pillar window kink, upscale aluminum wheel design, Sunroof (for 2.4 EX variant only), and distinctive tail lights.

The top-of-the-line 2.4-liter EX variant of the all-new CR-V is equipped with the i-MID or intelligent multi-information display. The i-MID features a 5-inch LCD display that shows various information to the driver like fuel consumption. The controls for the i-MID is located conveniently on the steering wheel.

True to its commitment on eco-friendliness, the all-new CR-V are equipped with the Eco Assist system, which consists of the ECON mode and Eco coaching ambient light. Engaging the ECON mode controls the engine, drive-by-wire, transmission, and air-con performance to improve fuel consumption. The Eco coaching ambient light promotes a more fuel-efficient driving habit by glowing green when throttle input is light and glowing white when throttle input is heavy.

All variants of the all-new CR-V are equipped with the One-Pull Fold-Down Rear Seats. With one pull of the lever located on either side of the rear cargo area or the strap located on either side of the rear seat, the 60/40 split rear seats mechanically fold down flat to provide additional cargo space.

Honda also packed the CR-V with a lot of safety features such as ABS and VSA. There are also passive safety features which includes the G-Force control technology. It also has dual front airbags, EBD, rear parking camera sensor, and adjustable standard three-point seat belts.

The 2.4-liter EX AT model is pegged at P1.655 million (with an additional P20,000 in White Orchid Pearl color), while the 2.0-liter LX AT is priced at P1.425 million.
