Frankfurt Motorshow 2011 Dispatch: Mazda CX-5

The Mazda CX-5 was just launched at the Frankfurt Motorshow 2011. It sports the new design theme of Mazda which they call “KODO – Soul of Motion”. This design puts an emphasis on the front view by giving it a bolder family face. The body also has a more dynamic styling which is supposed to communicate a strong sense of vitality and agility. In a word? They wanted this thing sleek.

Another main feature that Mazda is hyping is the SKYACTIV technology which is a combination of newly designed Mazda engines (41:1 compression ratio), transmissions, body, and chassis. This is supposed to deliver precise response and handling, eco-friendly, superb safety, and an overall better driving experience.
