Godzilla is in the Philippines. Nissan Philippines, Inc. has officially launched their legendary sportscar, the Nissan GT-R in the country.
The R35 GT-R is a legend in the car community, and the newly launched variant in the Philippines is the 2017 version of the iconic vehicle. That means the sportscar has a larger V-Motion grill, along with a reshaped hood and new bumpers. The car also comes with 20-inch Y-spoke, machine-finished forged aluminum wheels, and there will be seven colors to choose from, which includes Katsura Orangem Vibrant Red, Pearl Black, Ultimate Silver, Gun Metallic, Pearl White and Pearl Blue.
The 2017 GT-R still has the same 3.8 liter, VR38DETT twin-turbo engine, but Nissan has tweaked the powerplant to deliver 570 PS of power and 637 of torque, paired with an ATTESA E-TS AWD system. This makes the car one of the most powerful production vehicles you can buy in the country today, and is poised to give more expensive European-made sportscars a run for their money.
The 2017 GT-R has a steep price tag – if you want the pleasure of owning Godzilla, you’ll need to cough up Php 7.350 million pesos.
