Uber is back!
After briefly halting its service in accordance with the order of Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board, Uber is back in service. This comes after Uber filed a motion for reconsideration earlier today against the order issued by the government agency.

Despite the motion for consideration, the LTFRB has repeatedly said that the suspension order is still valid and has instructed the Metro Manila Development Authority as well as the Highway Patrol Group of the PNP to enforce the suspension order.
LTFRB Aileen Lizada says that they will push for the suspension order, and has asked that both the MMDA and the HPG to apprehend Uber drivers if they take to the streets.
This means that any Uber driver that will be caught today will be fined Php 120,000 and will have their vehicles impounded for 3 months.
