Daily Tech Drivers: Patsy Reyes

Daily Tech Drivers: Patsy Reyes

Model, streamer, and host Patsy Reyes might look like just another pretty face, but she’s a hardcore techie and a gamer at heart. Patsy grew up gaming with her brother while she was in grade school, and her love for gaming translated into a highly successful streaming career starting from 2021 onward. To call Patsy a gamer is an understatement – one look at the contents of the bag tells you that she’s a serious gamer and an all-around tech enthusiast. We sat her down for our new show, Daily Tech Drivers, to see what tech stuff she had in her bag, and some of the things she carried blew us away. You can watch the first episode of Daily Tech Drivers, featuring Patsy Reyes below:

It’s not a surprise then that Patsy’s main phone is the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate. Its size and bulk make it a literal handful for normies to use but that doesn’t matter if you’re a hardcore gamer and you want all the extra features that it gives you. It was the best gaming phone we reviewed last year, although the gaming-centric design and its lack of IP rating and so-so cameras might not make it appealing for the mainstream crowd. We have a review of the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate, which you can read here if you want to know more about it.

Patsy has paired another ROG product with the Phone 7 Ultimate when she’s out and about – the ROG Cetra. This pair of gaming-focused TWS buds has excellent ANC, low-latency wireless connection, and up to 27 hours of battery life. It has surprisingly great sound for a gaming-focused pair of buds, something that caught us off guard during our review. Its ANC capabilities and customization are also good, better than what we initially expected. We did a review on this awesome TWS pair, which you should check out here.

When she’s not gaming on the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate, Patsy’s going back in time with the Ambernix RG35XX. This retro-inspired gaming handheld can play games that debuted on the NES, Sega Genesis, PS1, and SNES platforms, making it the perfect handheld if you want to relive the childhood classics that we all grew up with. It’s relatively affordable too, DataBlitz has this listed for Php 2,395.

Patsy’s laptop of choice is the ZenBook S 13. The flagship laptop of ASUS, the S 13 is a stylish and powerful device that has a beautiful 13-inch OLED display. It’s very light and has enough grunt under the hood to keep you productive no matter what you’re doing. The screen is also fantastic, and we’ve yet to find a laptop with similar specs and size to match the ZenBook S 13 OLED’s overall screen quality even to this day. You can read our review of the ASUS ZenBook S 13 OLED here.

Watching movies on the small screen is ok, but what if you want to watch on the big screen? Patsy’s got the solution for that in the form of the Lumos Ray Home Cinema Projector. This thing is pretty handy, as it has a 3000 lumens lamp and can project a screen up to 150 inches in size. The smart version also has built-in YouTube, Netflix, and other streaming services so you don’t have to pair a PC or a mobile device to it to work.

Because of the amount of gadgets she lugs around with her, Patsy almost always requires a top-up from a power bank when she’s out and about. And like everyone nowadays she carries a power bank just for that purpose. Not just any power bank though – she hauls around a massive, Magsafe-compatible one that has a solar array on the back so she can charge it even when there are no plugs around.

Patsy’s weirdest gadget has got to be the unnamed laser-projected mouse and keyboard she had with her. These have been around for a while, though they never really got a lot of traction because of their weird ergonomics. But Patsy swears by it, and she can’t see herself leaving the house without it in her bag.

You can watch the second episode of Daily Tech Drivers below on YouTube which features Eri Neeman and Sskait, or if you’re more of an FB guy, you can watch it by clicking here.
