To complete the new line of iPhones for 2021, Apple announced the iPhone 13 Pro series. Comprising of the regular and Max variant, the iPhone 13 Pro also has the same updated design of the iPhone 13 series like the smaller notch.
The two main new things on the iPhone 13 Pro series are the display and the cameras. For the former, Apple is finally introducing 120hz ProMotion to the iPhone 13 Pro series. Like some of the top-end Android flagship phones this year, the iPhone 13 Pro’s display can switch anywhere between 10hz and 120hz depending on the use case to maximize battery life. Screen sizes for the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max are at 6.1-inches and 6.7-inches respectively.
Like the iPhone 13 series, the Pro models are also powered by Apple’s A15 Bionic chip and also claim better battery life: up to 1.5 hours better on the iPhone 13 Pro and up to 2.5 hours on the iPhone 13 Pro Max.
Moving to the triple camera setup, the iPhone 13 Pro series get an updated telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, an updated main camera with bigger 1.9um pixels and a f/1.5 aperture, and a new ultra-wide-angle camera with autofocus, f/1.8 aperture, and a macro function. All three cameras have a Night Mode feature, and both Pro models can now shoot using Apple’s ProRes video codec.
Apple iPhone 13 Pro Price
