A budget-oriented 6-inch display phone in the making?
As we have heard about Alcatel’s upcoming phones, we got news about the official specs for another model under the Alcatel 3 line. Called the Alcatel 3V, the big-screened model was revealed by leakster Roland Quandt:
Alcatel 3V: 6in IPS 2160×1080, MT6737 1,45 GHz quadcore, 2/16GB, 16+2 MP rear cam, 8 MP front cam, Dual SIM+SD, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Cat.4 LTE, BT4.2, 3000mAh battery, MicroUSB, FP reader, 8,05mm thickness, 169g, ~179 Euro pic.twitter.com/d2liNED0g0

While the internals are not mind-blowing (it has a quad-core MT6737 processor paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage), what makes the Alcatel 3V interesting is its 6-inch Full HD+ 18:9 display and dual rear camera setup (consisting of a 16-megapixel primary shooter and a 2-megapixel depth sensor).
We do think that the battery found on the Alcatel 3V is small at 3000mAh considering the large display, but we have to see for ourselves if Alcatel has optimized the phone to make it battery efficient. While there is no definite release date for it, Quandt notes that the Alcatel 3V will be priced at €179(~Php 11.1k).
