Alleged OnePlus V Fold Renders Reveal Z Fold-like Form Factor

Alleged OnePlus V Fold Renders Reveal Z Fold-like Form Factor

OnePlus is expected to unveil its first foldable phone this 2023, and while initial reports said that it might be a rebranded OPPO Find N, that does not appear to be the case–at least with these alleged renders of the OnePlus V Fold (not yet the official name).

Based on the shared renders, the OnePlus V Fold will adopt a form factor that’s closer to the Galaxy Z Fold4. The large camera bump in the back highlights OnePlus’ collaboration with Hasselblad, and the triple rear camera setup will include a periscope camera. What’s unusual with the design is the LED flash placement, which is outside of the large camera module.

The OnePlus V Fold is a premium device, so the back panel comes with vegan leather–we don’t know if there will be other color options. It is a bonafide OnePlus device too with the presence of an alert slider, and it will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well. The inner display will reportedly be a 120hz LTPO AMOLED display with a 2K resolution with a punch-hole placed in the corner.

As far as the specs are concerned, the OnePlus V Fold is expected to use a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 processor, along with an 50-megapixel IMX890 main camera and a 32-megapixel OV32C selfie camera on the cover display. Keeping the lights on will reportedly be a 4800mAh battery that has support for 100w SuperVOOC charging.

The OnePlus V Fold is set to launch sometime in August, though the brand has yet to confirm this.
