For the first time in several years, Apple is giving different screen sizes to the entire iPhone 16 Pro series, with the Pro Max jumping up to a 6.9-inch display, making it the biggest iPhone to date. The standard Pro model also grows in size with its 6.3-inch display. Both get a 120Hz LTPO panel, and like with the regular iPhone 16 series, Apple also managed to trim down the bezels further on the Pro series.
Just like the standard iPhone 16 series, the Pro models also have a capacitive capture button, which allows for swiping gestures. To make both models make the most out of Apple Intelligence, you’re getting an A18 Pro processor with 12GB of RAM. Base storage is 128 for the Pro and 256GB for the Pro Max. The story is the same regarding Apple Intelligence: you will have to wait for it to arrive via software update at a later date.
Going to the cameras, both models will have a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and a f/2.8 aperture. The main camera is the same 48-megapixel shooter, but now has support for 3K120 video recording with Dolby Vision. The ultra-wide camera is also the same 48-megapixel shooter as well.
With both phones growing in size, both also have bigger batteries: 3355mAh for the 16 Pro, and 4676mAh for the 16 Pro Max. Both support wired charging at 40w and wireless charging at 20w. The latter is an improvement, but pales in comparison to the fast charging speeds of premium Android flagships.
The iPhone 16 Pro starts at Php 69,990, while the Pro Max starts at Php 84,990.
