A new variant appears!
The ZE551ML variant of the Zenfone 2 is probably the most affordable smartphone you can find today that has 4GB of RAM, but not everyone has that amount of cash to splurge on a new phone. Well, apparently ASUS has released a new 16GB storage model of that ZE551ML which cuts the price of the new phone to just $229 or around Php 10.6K.
The new variant slots neatly below the high-end 2.3GHz model, as it sports just an Intel 1.8GHz Z3560 quad-core processor, 4GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. Aside from the improved RAM, there’s no change in the specs from the previous devices sold.
No word yet if the new variant will be sold in the PH, though if you like braving customs and buying online, you can get one here.
