Prepare your wallet kids, as ASUS has officially launched their version of NVIDIA’s RTX 5000 series of cards in the Philippines, including the RTX 5080 and the RTX 5090. As before, you’re getting three versions of NVIDIA’s new GPUs in the country, with the 5000 series cards available in ROG Astral, TUF Gaming and Prime variants.
The Astral model of the cards is the most spendy, while the Prime variants are the most affordable (as expensive as these are). The main differences are the additional features that ASUS put on top of the GPUs, with the ROG Astral being on top of the pile thanks to liquid cooling, bigger fans, and top-tier components like 80-amp mosfets to make the cards near indestructible.
The TUF Gaming version meanwhile is your middle of the road GPU, having enough cool features like a phase-change thermal compound plus protective PCB coating to enhance durability. If you just want minimal add-ons to the card and slightly smaller footprint, ASUS’ Prime is for you, as they’re the most affordable of three.
But affordability is relative here, as these are still pretty pricey cards. The highest-end ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 GDDR7 OC Edition is priced at Php 230,100, while the most affordable Prime RTX 5080 is pegged at Php 75,670. We’ll be dropping the complete prices below:
