ASUS is no stranger to hype collabs with its laptops: in the past, it has collaborated with the likes of Alan Walker and Philip Colbert for unique takes on ASUS’ ROG and VivoBook laptops respectively. It also teamed up with ACRONYM back in 2020 for a hypebeast version of the Zephyrus G14–and ASUS is back with another hype collab this 2023, this time with BAPE (aka A Bathing Ape).

For the next hype collab from ASUS, BAPE will be giving their signature take on the VivoBook S 15 OLED. Based on the short teaser video posted on YouTube, the VivoBook S 15 OLED is getting BAPE’s trademark camo print on the lid that has hints of the streetwear brand’s Apehead logo.

To accompany the camo print, the lid appears to have BAPE co-branding found below the usual ASUS VivoBook branding. Another angle of the laptop also shows that the entire lid will have the full camo graphic print, making it one of the loudest ASUS laptops to date.

We still don’t know what will be its specs, but the VivoBook S 15 OLED can be configured with up to a Core i7-12700H processor, along with up to 16GB DDR4 RAM and up to 512GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD. As for the display, the VivoBook S 15 OLED can be had with a 2.8k 120hz panel or a Full HD 60hz panel.

ASUS should reveal more about its collab with BAPE in the coming months, so stay tuned.
