Huawei has officially launched the nova Y71 and Y91, two new smartphones that both have big screens and big batteries, in the Philippines.
The budget Huawei nova Y71 comes equipped with a large, 6.75-inch LCD IPS display that has a 90Hz refresh rate, and HD+ resolution along with an 8MP camera nestled in a water-drop notch.
Powering the phone is a Kirin 710A octa-core processor, along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage.
The main camera is a 48-megapixel deal with an f/1.8 aperture lens, along with a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The phone has a massive 6000mAh battery and Huawei’s 22.5W SuperCharge tech to fill it up quickly.
The Huawei nova Y91, meanwhile, has an even bigger 7000mAh battery inside of it. The screen is also bigger than its sibling at 6.95 inches, sporting a full HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and a notch for the 8-megapixel selfie camera.
Powering it is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Interestingly Huawei opted to go with a two-camera setup on the phone, with the nova Y91 sporting a 50-megapixel f/1.8 main camera with PDAF and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor with LED flash.
To fill up that massive 7000mAh battery, Huawei used the same 22.5W SuperCharge tech on the nova Y91 as the one used on its cheaper brother.
