After a global announcement last May 10, Canon officially launches the vlogging-focused PowerShot V10 in the Philippines with a Php 30k price tag. Armed with a unique form factor that’s compact and lightweight at just 211g, the PowerShot V10 features a 20.9 megapixel 1-inch CMOS sensor that’s paired with a DIGIC X processor and a 19mm f/2.8 lens, making it a great tool for those who want to create vlogs on the go.
The PowerShot V10’s internals allows it to shoot 4K video at 30FPS and Full HD video at 60FPS, which are among the common video recording resolutions that are used by vloggers. Autofocus is controlled through its 2-inch flip screen, where you have One-Shot AF in stills, Movie Servo AF for videos, Face Tracking, and Specified Frame AF.
Despite having a fixed focal length, the PowerShot V10 has a 3x digital zoom feature in case you want to zoom into details. Keeping video footage stable is Canon’s Movie Digital IS, while its omnidirectional microphones allow the PowerShot V10 to capture sound in all directions that include frontal and 360-degree sounds.
