Galaxy A8+ (2018) Starts Receiving Android Pie

It is the second major Android update for Samsung’s late 2017 mid-ranger

Amidst multiple phone releases these past few weeks, Samsung rolls out Android Pie and One UI to the Galaxy A8+ (2018). The update is in line with Samsung’s updated Android Pie rollout schedule, where the Galaxy A8+ (2018) is supposed to receive it this month.

Aside from One UI, the update also includes the February 2019 security patch. Don’t expect any more updates for the Galaxy A8+ (2018), as this will be the second major update for the mid-range phone. Launched last December 2017, the Galaxy A8+ (2018) shipped with Android Nougat out of the box. The Android Pie update is spotted in Russian models of the Galaxy A8+ (2018), and will roll out in more units in the coming weeks.

Key specs of the Galaxy A8+ (2018) include an Exynos 7885 processor, 6GB RAM, IP68 rating, dual front cameras, and a 3500mAh battery.
