GBox June Update Has Google Play Store Built-in

Here’s some good news for Huawei users who are using GBox: the app developers have updated it to now have Google Play Store built-in. This has been confirmed on the official community page of Huawei Philippines on Facebook, and updating to the latest version of GBox is as simple as installing it over the previous of GBox one has on their Huawei device.

This new update should help Huawei users have an easier time downloading the apps they need on their phones. Having Google Play Store built-in means that Huawei users have more options on where to download their apps. Aside from that, this also saves users from the hassle of sideloading apps, which can be unreliable (not to mention unsafe) at times.

You can download GBox here–to make sure that you are downloading the latest version, the APK file should be version 1.4.6. To know if you’re using the actual Play Store that’s built into the app, the Play Store icon does not include any additional graphics.
