Google’s New Pixels Will Be Unveiled On Oct. 4

Brand new Pixel smartphones, by Google

Looking for the ultimate Android smartphone endorsed by Google themselves? You won’t have to wait long. Google has dropped a new teaser video in YouTube that definitely references the launch of their Pixel 2 smartphones, slated to be launched on October 4.

Obviously Google hasn’t spilled the beans on what you can expect from the new devices, but according to the video you can expect the phone to have better storage, a sturdier battery, better cameras and will understand you, undoubtedly a wink and a nudge to a more powerful AI Assistant.

If the leaks are to be believed, the new Pixel devices are to carry a Snapdragon 835 processor, a QHD display, 4GB of RAM and around 128GB of storage. As with most of Google-branded phones, the new Pixels are going to be built by other companies for the search giant. Instead of a single manufacturer however, rumors say that two companies will be building the two Pixels this time around: the Pixel 2 will be built by HTC, while the Pixel XL 2 will be made by LG.

Will the rumored photos and specs match the devices announced by Google? We’ll just have to find out on October 4.
